Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bhilai Steel Plant (HR-L&D Department) has invited applications for 710 APPRENTICE seats for 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 — 516 Trade (ITI) Apprentices, 124 Technician (Diploma) Apprentices and 70 Graduate Apprentices. Please note this is an apprenticeship (training with stipend), not a permanent job. Eligible candidates can check the seat details and important dates below.

• Portal Registration Last Date: 20 October 2026 (NAPS for ITI / NATS for Diploma & Degree)
• Walk-in / Document Verification: 27 October to 21 November 2026 (trade-wise) at Room No. 123, HRDC, Bhilai Steel Plant
• Application Fee: Nil
• Selection: Merit (30% Class X marks + 70% qualifying exam marks) + walk-in

How to Apply

1. First register on the NAPS portal (ITI) at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or the NATS portal (Diploma/Degree) at nats.education.gov.in before 20 October 2026.
2. Then attend the walk-in with document verification at HRDC, Bhilai Steel Plant as per your trade schedule between 27 October and 21 November 2026.
3. Carry originals and photocopies of all certificates. This apprenticeship carries no obligation of regular employment at SAIL.
